Speaking of travel one of our new team riders, Dylan GILL-VALLANCE is on surf adventure / mission of a life time. Dylan a young surfer from Bells Beach Victoria is sailing solo in search of perfect surf and adventure through the Pacific and beyond. Dylan will be filming and photographing his finding and also doing research as he is a Oceanographer. We will following and supporting him on his CROSSING WE will be posting updates in our Travel Stories each month so stay tuned. Dylan will be in Tahiti until may 08.
Our team has continued to live the dream travelling and competing around the world and locally, Tara Ryan has been doing several photoshoots including A trip with Lara Enerver and Arini Mason to the Maldives recently, check out the story on our travel story page called Bikini Bandits. Sam Watson has continued his asp tour, with some outstanding results. Most of the other LINE UP TEAM are off over seas surfing somewhere.
New Line Up summer clothing, of board shorts and t-shirts are in store now drop in and check them out.
In early 08 LINE UP SURF will be hosting a SOCCER MATCH , yes a soccer match between the AUSTRALIAN SURFERS V THE BRAZILAIN SURFERS. To play in this match you must be a real surfer, Australian or Brazilian. This international match will be played at Cromer Park on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and is open to all levels. There will be trials to pick the sides for the big match which will be the opening Game for MANLY UNITED's First home match in Feb 08 in the Super Leauge. I have no doubt that a big crowd will be there as there are plenty of Brazilians in OZ and they all love a round ball. If you want to play you can register at LINE UP DEE WHY or email your details and you will be advised of trial dates. Four years ago it was the Australians who lifted the cup. The Brazilians are determined to revise their so called shock loss last time.
MUSIC
Line Up has continued to support Olivia The Band from Hawaii. Line Up supported Olivias 07 tour of Australia which was part of the Beth Hamliton Heart of a soul surfer movie, If you havent seen Beth's movie or heard Olivias new album, "BACK TO FRIENDS WHERE SUMMER NEVER ENDS then drop in as we have them in stock.
Last but not least LINE UP has connected with W.A. hard rock band Headfirst. This three man band of Trano, Tutts and Austrailan idol top 10 finalist Lance have recenty returned home from a very successful tour of the U.S.A where MTV took a liking to their "UFO". We are very very amazed that they are not signed to a big record label yet check em out on www.headfirstlive.com
