Learn to surf with the Line Up Surf School; situated at 12/B The Strand, Dee Why Beach (on the Northern Beaches of Sydney), Line Up offer a full range of coaching services, for the beginner or the elite competitor. Surfing now holds no boundaries, anyone male, female, young or old, who wish to enjoy this exciting sport are taking up the challenge.

We welcome all to join our qualified and experienced coaches for a fun time in learning or furthering your surfing or competitive skills.

Group Lessons


Just join in with the open groups or why not get together with your friends and organise your own private group lesson. We welcome organised groups and social clubs to arrange for private groups.

Group lessons are held every Saturday morning from 7:00am to 8:30am at Dee Why Beach. Bookings are essential.

Private groups can also be arranged.


One on One Lessons

Can be arranged anytime of the day for beginners or elite surfers; however booking is essential.

School Holiday Programme

Line Up Surf School runs 3 day youth holiday programmes every school holidays. Cost $100 per child for the course. All wetsuits, surboards & tuition is included. 16 years and under only. These groups are normally run on Mondays to Thursdays starting 7:30am at Dee Why Beach. Bookings are essential.

Surf Sessions

For those of you who prefer the less formal, more relaxed approach why not book a half day or even a full day session. Remember bookings are essential.
