Rusty Moran

Lives: Cronulla, NSW

Rusty is a very dedicated Christian, and a member of the Christian Surfers Association. He is happily married and just loves big waves.

For many years Rusty found notoriety in chasing down some of the biggest waves in the World, including the infamous day at Avalanche on the North Shore of Hawaii where he and two friends went out and surfed 25 foot waves. Rusty was the only one who came back alive.

His favourite wave is at Shark Island where he has just bought a Unit overlooking the break.
