Diasuke Sonayama

After having lived for many years in Australia, Diasuke now lives on Amami Oshima which is a sub-tropical island off Southern Japan. The island has a very small but dedicated surfing fraternity with a very high standard of surfers compared to the rest of Japan. This is due to the fact that most of the breaks are over coral reef. The island is believed to have Japan's best waves.

Work: Diasuke works on Amami as a Chef. Which gives him heaps of time to surf during the day.

Travels: He travels at least twice a year to exotic destinations such as Bali, the Maldives and Australia etc.
